What started off as a promising story full of thrill and plot twists turned into utter shit the last 20 or so chapters. First of all, what a letdown when Arisa finally woke up. Her attitude was terrible. She was built up to be this kind, generous, optimistic girl and all I saw was a pathetic, selfish, ungrateful brat. And Tsubasa went from being a badass delinquent who stood up for what really mattered to a complete pushover for someone she tried saving the entire goddamn series who didn't give a shit in the end.
The build up to the identity of the King was ruined as a result. The backstory was subpar with absolutely zero foreshadowing. Character development backtracked tenfold. And then they tried some half-ass makeup at the end where Tsubasa was still the one apologizing. Did Arisa even apologize!?! I had to force myself to read the last chapters just to say I finished it. Unbelievable.
What a waste of potential.
