One part I felt could have been bit better was the character development. It felt like lot of characters came and went within couple of episodes without contributing or affecting much of the story. I haven't read the LN, and won't say that it is one of the great adaptations, however Overlord continued to charm with it's badass anti-hero main character and political strategy to attain world domination.
