In my opinion, this series is WAY too overhyped, though as someone who hasn't read the manga or seen what the story is about before watching, I didn't know what to expect beforehand. What I expected was a (gorey) shonen, and yes while it is that at parts, there are more scenes of the protagonist daydreaming about oppai and one or two (very mid) female characters which honestly isn't for me or my sense of humor though I could understand appreciation for the show if someone else were to like that style of character. I will probably continue to watch this though it's hard to say if my rating will improve.
