It's decently funny and quite informative, and I appreciate the fact that the author didn't let more serious subjects like religion affect his character dynamics. It's a light-hearted slice of life manga above all else and I for one appreciate that.
The girls themselves are cute, but they're not all that different from each other. Again, that isn't really much of a problem since the manga is so short and there are so many girls, but if it were longer their similarities and lack of uniqueness would come through much more. Each girl has maybe one or two defining character traits and that's about it. They're also not stereotypical warriors, so don't expect any mead-drinking, foul-mouthed comradery from this one.
Again, if you want to read a short slice of life story with a bunch of warrior girls, this one's gonna sate your thirst for that sort of thing for a while.
