Where do I begin... aside from the narrative becoming an epic love ballad for Battler and Beatrice, I really like how Erika's character was developed in this arc. In the last, I saw her as a little snot, albeit a cute one. I liked the development of her relationship with Dlanor.
As well as Erika's masochistic dynamic with Bernkastel, this is the first arc where we really get a glimpse of Lambdadela's obsession with Bern as well. Shocking how ruthless George was towards his mother. The epilogue where Bern encounters Featherine was also really climactic!
Liked the subversion of the "I'll force you to marry me and ravage you for all eternity" trope, you usually only ever see that with a villain wanting to marry a maiden... in this case, Battler is the maiden! Erika's personality (albeit psychopathic) makes it hard to not love her.
