However, it REALLY is a bag full of old cliches with not that much substance to it, which again, feels like an anime from like 2013-2016 or so. Even so, it's still not quite as attention grabbing as some of the better classics of the genre; there's just not enough plot happening. The only real twist, if you could call it that, is that it's not really a harem, even though there's a tsundere childhood friend-chan right there; the MC really just sticks with his big succ.
All in all, this definitely feels like the usual anime ad for a LN or in this case, a manga, and while it was fun, I don't really see this holding up in the long term, nor getting a season 2; High school DxD this is not. Honestly, I would give this a 6/10, but the animation budget is decent enough that it's not laughably bad like many under the radar seasonal anime these days but yeah; only watch if you wish you had a "big tiddy succubus mommy-GF/wife".
