There is one main reason why people watch Kite, and that is because it is controversial. It has become a "cult classic" and has gained a reputation for being raunchy, violent, and graphic; thus, people endlessly continue to talk about it and seek it out.

For the love of God, please do not even bother seeking it out.

Boring, incoherent, disturbing, disgusting, and incompetent, Kite is neither fun to watch nor even fascinating as "so bad its good" cinema. The one positive aspect is the art, which is all the keeps me from failing it, and it is otherwise a disaster. The characters are bland, the story is poorly-told, the film's tone leans heavily towards that of disturbing, fetishist pornography, and the ending is probably the most sociopathic thing I have ever seen in film or television.

In short, this is an unpleasant mess, and your time is better spent elsewhere.
