I couldn't say this movie was disappointing, to begin with I wasn't even aware this movie was supposed to be released this year. nonetheless Dragon Ball super: super hero does what this lackluster franchise does best which it is basically milking the fans through nostalgia. You got new useless transformations that are going to become completely obsolete by the next installment, the new power ups are lazy (the power ups were done automatically with no training), the new androids and cell max are just android saga 2.0 , plot and characters became an afterthought since z so that hasn't changed I guess and the fight between the heroes and the new androids is tensionless since nothing feels like it’s at stake. But what about Goku and Vegeta? the strongest beings in the entire universe well whomever was in charge of this movie thought that adding a pointless scene in which Vegeta finally beats Goku but not quite was clever or something (it's hinted that Goku let him win 'cause he wanted to give his long best friend a win for a change).
