I didn't want a remake of all the episodes in the original anime it would've been too much and too long but it's becoming very obvious that 12 was not enough. All the characters have lost their impact or bond, each had to have a moment to shine in the original through fillers and progress as a team. You can see them all get closer and fight less but instead they are going 0 to 5 to 10 within a couple episodes.

My enjoyment of the show so far is solely because I love the original animation but the art, sound and overall characters are so much weaker. The art and sound is passable and not really an issue but the characters are such a damper. As said above they don't have time to really bond but they also just don't get more than a few words to describe them and honestly that's all you can use. They are very bland pieces of cardboard presented to us as one thing and we know that's not about to change in the time given to them if they want to also make them finish their final goal of saving the earth.

I am hoping future episodes may redeem this but it does seem like there's not much that can be done other than sob that another anime seems to be ruined by rushing / too little episodes which seems to be a very common issue nowadays.
