Preliminary (101/165 chp)
Spoiler
I haven't written a review before but since this manhwa hasn't had any, and is one of my favourite mangas/manhwas ever i thought i'd give it a go :)

Story : 10/10
It's hard to explain how amazing this plot is without spoiling anything. The main character, Hari Yang, who is an aspiring actress, has amnesia. She cannot remember anything from her childhood however she lives her life fairly peacefully...until someone attempts to kidnap her. Because of this, her friend/mentor - Mr Ahn, who she is very close with and holds feelings for, hires a team of body guards to protect her. One of these bodyguards is the crude, somewhat flirtatious and totally psychopathic Gale. He is also super hot but that's another thing...

The story follows this trio as they figure out their complicated feelings, but most importantly the mystery behind Hari's past and the strange cult she seems to be connected to. Although the romantic tension is amazing and one of the best parts of this manhwa, it truly stands out in its incorporation of psychological themes. Every time another detail is revealed, it neatly slots into a previous clue reverts the reader's expectations. I'm not kidding when I read almost 90 chapters in one night (it was a sleepless night) because of how gripping this story is and I literally jump everytime it updates.

Comedy, Romance, Mystery , and even some pretty wholesome moments - it has everything you could wish for in a story!

Art: [9/10]
One criticism I've seen of this manhwa is that it's art style is a little weird. Granted, it's not your typical manga/manhwa artstyle and it's not very technically impressive, but in my opinion it is unique and perfectly fits the tone of this manga.

The author does these little chibi characters in many scenes and I find them to be highlights of this manhwa! The use of analogies and symbolism in the art is very beautiful. For example, (SPOILER) there are times when Hari is trying to pull herself together after some hardships and that's symbolised by her little chibi selfs trying to rebuild this crumbling box with a crying Hari enclosed in it. The portrayal of mental illness and trauma really pulled at my heart and I think the artist is amazing at what they do!

Characters: [9/10]
Not a single one of these character's fits into any one of the usual cliches in these types of media. While the MC may seem like a run of the mill happy go lucky, innocent heroine, there's a lot more to her. There is a whole cast of colourful, realistic and intriguing characters. My favourite has to be Gale. He steals every scene he is in, and his character development through the series is beautiful. I think the great part about this manhwa is that each of these characters feel like real people with their own aspirations and motivations and doubts that you get more insight into as the story moves along.

Enjoyment: [10/10]
Although this manhwa does get quite heavy at times, and doesn't shy away from dark and draining topics, it knows when to be lighthearted and wholesome too. I think that's why I enjoyed reading it so much!

Overall: [10/10]
