I love food illustrations. If this had basically no story and was just about two people trying a different meal once a week and making small talk or talking about the food, I would've been happy. Adding romance and characters with actual stories? Sounds great.

Art
The character art and backgrounds are good, fairly standard. The food illustration is pretty great. Always made me hungry.

Characters
The characters are down to earth and pretty realistic. The leads are in their late 20s so naturally they're fairly mature. That being said, I started and ended the story disliking the FL. It's pretty disappointing. She's fine in the middle though. The ML on the other hand was great all the way through besides just one line he says near the end in response to her.

Story & Enjoyment
The story is simple and straight-forward but I loved reading this series. It never felt like a chore. I was interested in the food but also in the characters and their relationships. It was lovely to watch the two leads meet, get to know each other, and see how their relationship evolved over time while bonding over food. It's definitely a slow burn. If you want something really fluffy, this isn't it.

This would've been a favourite of mine if the ending didn't happen. If you stop before the second-last ep or skip that ep and fill in the gaps, you'll feel more satisfied imo and I'd recommend the series wholeheartedly up until that point. I was pretty disappointed but it seems many people can ignore it or don't think it's that big of a deal so maybe you will too. If there had been more episodes, maybe it could've been redeemed.

Overall, a great time up until the end.
