The story and characters are pretty messy, but the mma bits so far are interesting. The story itself seems a little contrived. The main character wants to beat up an MMA fighter classmate because.... he doesn't feel understood? or something along those lines. The characters themselves are okay, outside of the main character who just confuses me. If it keeps up the quality of the fights and techniques, I'll keep reading, but that's primarily because I'm a MMA fan and practitioner.
Art is good, but if you haven't read the great martial arts manga, (i.e. Holyland, Teppu, Meguru, Ippo, etc,) I would not recommend reading this. Hell, unless you've got a strong interest in realistic martial arts manga I don't see a reason to read this. Would I recommend this to someone who doesn't already enjoy MMA? Not really.
