Okay, when I first came across this manga I really thought it's gonna be very cute, wholesome, and healthy. And... it's cute, sometimes... wholesome...ugh...healthy? Well, at least not for LGBTQIA+ people.
This is the third work of Shikke that I read and it's the second one that I hate. But comparing this one with the other one that I didn't enjoy, this one right here is the worst. Ofc, if you're straight you're not gonna be bothered like me, you're gonna think this is really great, but from my point of view, this is garbage.
First of all, Shikke basically uses every bad stereotype of gay and bisexual people in this story to create the personality of the characters. Second of all, they made a cute relationship between a gay guy and a straight guy, which is one of the worst tropes of BL out there that I personally HATE, because it doesn't make any sense to me. The author even tries to like enlighten the mood in some parts, but I was already disgusted by this manga, so it didn't work for me at all.
If you enjoyed that's fine, I don't care, I'm not here to change your opinion. I just want to ask y'all gently, please, please don't think gay and bisexual/pansexual people are like this. As a queer person, I was very hurt by this manga.
Most of my rating goes for the cats because they're cute af.
