At first glance, it seems like your run-of-the-mill fantasy, so I thought I was about to watch some mediocre fantasy that you could mistake for any other. Though I suppose I was foolish in that with me being someone who likes Satoshi Urushihara's artstyle, but not his way of inserting fanservice so much. Like I'm fine with fanservice, his insertion of it so far just sucks.
Though, big warning, don't go in blind like I did if you're sensitive to attempted rape and groping scenes. Certainly wasn't the most welcome of surprises.
Nonetheless, this OVA sticks to the typical fantasy formula I know of with few departures. It's something that is probably fun to watch when you have nothing better to watch, but even then under my circumstances I still got bored halfway through. Some scenes linger for way too long and the sound design can be hit or miss. There are several instances of voices not fitting the lip flaps in the original Japanese version. Not so sure about the dub because I don't wanna rewatch this for that.
Don't go in expecting anything spectacular and if anything has Urushihara's name on it, there's probably at least one drawn out boobie scene.
