All the technical aspects are incredible (art, sound, music, animation), but the story is just ass.
The order of events causes every single opportunity for confrontation of ideals to get extinguished before it can even start. The decision to deviate this much from the SIF All Stars mobile game's story causes everything that made it so great to just plummet into the abyss. Furthermore the fact that several characters' development arcs just got shafted or were basically non-existent.
The first 2 to 3 episodes were very promising, but after that the story took a complete nosedive, with maybe one or two slightly decent self-coherent episodes here and there.
