When I saw the trailers, edits and images I really thought that Tamako would be the cute introverted girl and Mochizo would be the popular boy who plays basketball, but I thought it was cool to see that it was very different from my expectation. And I have to say that I found Mochizo very sweet.
And about the story itself, I must say that, taking away the stereotypes of the characters I had created in my head, the story doesn't go far from the standard I thought it would be, it's a very cute anime, but, I think because it's a movie and having less time to make viewers connect directly with the characters, didn't make me have as much attachment or genuine happiness for the characters, but I think the film's goal is far from something deep and exciting, but something that entertains who is watching, and in this regard it fulfills its role well.
