Honestly, I watched some of the anime first before reading, and boy was it whole different perspective. The characters are not plain jane, there is something exciting onto each character to make you remember. Plot is by its name, spy x family, I don't know why I thought when I was seeing this I was going expect operative, ghost in the shell esque, but it's like a cute cliche spy life. I love the character development and I believe the series kind of gives sufficient background to majority of the characters. It's always spicing up scenes, from like the fights, to just the causal interactions. For the most part I found it interesting in all of the parts, episode 5 is complete turn around from the manga, of course manga has more information, but they killed it in giving life in animation. Something I would recommend to everyone, it's not over the top, but its amazing on its own category.
