This feels very much like a filler arc of gintama. It's not bad, it has a decent amount of laughs and good lines but the story itself is lacking. It's a fun spin with more hits than misses and the main characters are done well - but ultimately it is a series of short comedy sketches which doesn't compare to the more epic arc.

Ultimately it's a decent watch but don't expect the epicenes from the more plot centric arcs. The characters themselves are done well and it is hard to fault the direction. Fourth wall breaking remains central and is also utilized well.
