This has to be one of the best shows I have seen. Not only, is the animation and art amazing, but the characters and sound as well.
Starting with characters, I like the fact that they included a new Hashira and even showed his backstory. This is where you get to see how strong a Hashira really is, there are ranking that can decide that more clearly but in general. You also get to see during the show Tanjiros “new mark” since it changes during the final blows of the battle. I found it amazing that each of them lived and Zentisu was asleep the whole entire time. The development and growth you can see in each character really shows during the show. For example, Nezuko unlocked some kind of new power which helped her fend off Daki. Nezuko was also the one who saved everyone from the poison which can show the true extent of her blood arts.
Now onto the demons portrayed in the movie. When I started watching, I truly didn’t expect there to be demons. The producers used amazing plot twisters that kept me on the edge of my seat. Daki was portrayed as the weaker sibling of the both, Gyutaro was portrayed as the strongest, I liked there “dynamic duo”. I believe that Gyutaro had one of the coolest blood arts I have seen, his blood blades and poisons really added development and shock factor to the episodes. I also found their backstory extremely sad, when developers include these stories, it makes us (at least for me) feel sorry from them and hate them a little less.
Animation. The fire was amazingly detailed, it could have passed as real. The pure amazement I feel for this animation can not be explained enough. The fight scenes, the fire, everything about the animation was just pure amazing. Not a single person can give a bad rating for animation. The sounds and really everything else that is shown in the show is amazing. I also enjoyed the fact that the show included Tegens Wives. The intro and outro were truly spectacular, every Sunday when I knew there would be an episode, I would watch until the end, both of the amazing songs.
The Plot and build up were also great. The plot started slowly, we see Tanjiro going to Rengoku’s family to tell them the things Rengoku wished for them to hear. Then we see all 4 MC’s (Tengen is included) go to the District. We see the boys dress as girls and stuff like that but then when Zentisu gets hit and passes out? That’s when the true action begins, the battles all begin, the plot thickens, the climax approaches. I thought the way they carried out the plot was amazing.
