I was laughing so hard one time, then I'm about to burst into tears the next. This completely took me by surprise at how the story developed just like that. It was heart wrenchingly sad and beautifully heartwarming. When Naruse narated his past and why he took the service pained me a lot on seeing how broken and pathetic he feels for being no "normal" as what society sees. Him loving a man but not wanting to be a woman means he just wants to be himself and feel emotions and love and to be loved by somebody. I can't get his reaction off my head when he burst out his feelings back there, especially when we see Kei starting to feel something deeper to him too and wanting to be the person to love him. But what got me cackling, too, was that ending. That manager threw an all out coming out and going away party? It turned out all good in the end.
