I believe this show has some problems with balance, but overall, it's a really good shounen. The world feels doesn't really feel fleshed out in my opinion. It's very intriguing, but they don't follow up.
Art - 9
Amazing art as always. I literally can't find a problem with the art, the only way they could improve is with movie level art with a greater budget, which will probably never happen if this gets a S3.
Sound - 8
Not a sound guy myself, just going from my experience, it sounded good.
Character - 7
Same problem as the story, it doesn't balance the characters well.
MC uses an OP power at the end of S1 (trying not to spoil), but barely uses this power in this season.
Im sensing a pattern too. It shows the MC and his companions as weak for the first part of the show, then uses a small training arc to power them up. This feels like an overused trope and kind of lazy.
Im only talking about the small % of critical things though.
Overall, the characters are well fleshed out and very interesting.
Enjoyment - 6
Even when I was watching this, a little drunk, I wouldn't really get hyped at the "epic" scenes. The comedy was probably the best part of this season.
Conclusion - Overall - 7
I had to place this below season 1. Season 1 just had me hyped at the action. Especially the action scene towards the end, the classic shounen power up whilst in battle always gets me hyped.
