I don't hate this anime, I just think its average and that's all. The animation is really pretty to look at, the CGI is really good and also it has a nice opening and ending song.
The story is also pretty cool, our 3 main characters go to a red light district with a Hashira to kill the big bad demon because the demon on a killing spree.
Summarized the plot and shit now time to get to what I like and dislike.
Likes-
Nice animation, it looks really pretty which is obvious. The fights are really pretty to look at and you can make out everything that's happening, very pretty and nice animation.
There's allot of CGI and its really good. Normally it distracts me but Ufotable makes it look really good and really nice to look at. Very Nice.
The Soundtrack is also pretty nice but not as good as season 1. The opening and ending songs are decent songs, but the OP doesn't set the tone for the show at all but thats okay I dont really care, no OST stands out in particular, it just blends in with the show and that's about it.
Nice and simple story. Big bad demon eating many humans, demon slayers notice it, go to the big bad demon's place to fight and they fight bam bam boom boom nothing too complicated.
Dislikes- Literally everything else.
The characters are annoying. For example one of the Hashira's bitches really gets on my nerves like fr I wanted to punch her so bad to just stfu, the main characters are okay no that annoying, Shounen protagonist Tanjiro is okay I guess, Screaming guy Inosuke is not as annoying compared to season 1, the wannabe funny guy Zenitsu is still kinda unfunny and he doesn't do that much in this season but okay. The main hashira guy is also pretty cool he fights with the big bad demons and its nice to look at. So then, what do I dislike about these? Well they're just mediocre and have zero personality and it kinda degrades the experience of watching the show.
Another thing I dislike is the plotholes and the big bad demons of this season. There are some major plotholes in this show and let me explain without giving too many spoilers. Tanjiro in some episode fights the main big bad and gets shit on like blood all over shit and also passes out, literally the next fucking episode hes fighting with those wounds like its nothing and kicking ass again, it makes no sense at all. Like dude, you just got cut with a goddamn sword, pass out and then the next episode you're back to kicking ass again like bruh wtf, I just there's no sense of danger at all that he's gon die or some shit like hes getting up every time he eats shit and its annoying its a huge plothole and it's not explained at all. Also nezuko somehow gets a buff without any explanation like suddenly she becomes buff and starts kicking ass it makes and it makes no sense but at least she became thicc so I dont mind that I got to see bob. Also another thing is that in the final fight and most of the fights they're just defying every single fucking law in physics and shouting at the top of their lungs, got earraped :/. Edit- I re-watched the last few episodes and remember when tanjiro gets tortured? Yeah the next moment they brush off that scene and he's back in full form again bro this shit really degrades the experience for me.
And also one thing I disliked is the tone in this show. It wants to be a comedy and a dark/gory show at a time. In some serious moments like when a character is fucking dying wannabe funny guy Zenitsu or screaming guy Inosuke starts cracking shitty jokes and disrupts the whole tone and I never felt like a single main character would die at all.
My next point, both of the big bads' backstory is just unnecessary. I dont give a fuck about their backstory one bit okay like dude yeah its sad and all but that doesn't matter one bit bruh like they've been killing humans for centuries how does a backstory justify mass killing bruh I just couldn't give a shit cuz in the first place they showed the backstory when they were dying and it felt super forced and akward like bruh get the fuck out of here, I dont give a fuck how sad your life is you both are mass murderers and enjoy what you do I dont have any reasons to feel sorry for you both like bruh. Well but I'm not gonna lit their backstories are pretty sad :'(.. but I don't care.
Basically, huge plotholes, shitty forced backstories, some fights break every single law of physics (yeah its fiction and all but..), the tone is all over the place (and horrible comedy) and annoying characters.
Anyways to sum this up I had fun watching this show and I don't hate it, I just think this was really weak and had some plotholes here and there and some characters were annoying but overall I enjoyed watching it and you can too.
