I have been so bored lately having no anime that I want to watch but Komi, can't communicate is anime that literally hit home in the best possible way. I mean I don't really enjoy anything to do with the romance genre but this is a romance done in the best possible way.
For me, Komi-san is one of the most relatable characters that I have come across in an anime. She is shy yet she is still seeking friends and doesn't think she is everything. Tadano is a really generally 'average' guy, making him much more likeable as a character knowing that he is not someone who is annoying or mean. Najimi is just a friend that everyone needs, he may come across as annoying to some but he really cares and wants everyone to have a good time. The characters overall have their 'faults' but are really generally nice people and make the anime what it is.
The art is IMMACULATE, some may say that the art style is not for them but without the sense of simplicity, the characters have it makes the jokes much funnier which you should want in a comedy anime. The background art is amazing and the animators who animated this receive all of my best wishes as they are so good. The intro and outro are amazing and so are all the scenes in this anime.
The backtrack, the intro, the outro, the voice acting, and simply everything that possibly could have been done with the sound to make this so good was done. Even on the last episode due to them having the lyrics of the intro in every episode I could sing along and just vibe with the anime. Speaking about the into, I can tell you that From at least episode two I was literally dancing as soon as it started playing.
The narrator talks about Komi not being able to communicate in a positive way making me feel refreshed.
I can say I 100000000% enjoyed this anime and I can't wait for season 2. I'm definitely considering purchasing the manga as I love this series so much.
I am BEGGING you to watch just 3 episodes and I'm telling you that you will be hooked on this series and if you are not then please just read the manga.
