The manga is great as a teen, kinda annoying as an adult. The art is great and the concept is cool, problem is that the dialogues are redundant. How many time do you need to use metaphors relating to wings or flying until its enough. Like, we know that the main message of the story is all about being free and how important it is, but do every character possible needs to remind us of it? The story gets better further in the chapters but it does stay cringy no matter what. The manga has other flaws but its mostly subjective. I would rate it a 5/10 purely cause of the dialogues but I just love everything else about Air Gear so I rate it a 8/10.
