Everyone right now is talking about mushoku tensei. With a rating of 8.7 its literally becoming one of the best rated anime ever. Does it deserve it though?
Story: Mushoku tensei follows a pretty linear but good overall story which even though similar to other isekai is decent enough to get a 8/10
Art: Pretty good artstyle and animation
Sound: Normal seasonal anime sound effects not too good not too bad just avarage
Characters: One word to describe them. Appaling. Mushoku tensei possibly has few of the worst characters ever and most of them are main characters. For starters the MC is unbelievably horrible both before and after his reincarnation, his development is disgusting he literally stays the same and he is way too vanilla to even bring any hype.
Then we have deuteragonists like Paul (MC's father) and Eris which are literally unwatchable .
Overall the anime doesn't live up to the hype purely by the characters
