A masterpiece is an understatement when it comes to Ousama Ranking. I don't even know where to start. From a deceiving unique art-style that might make anyone think this is an anime for kids, to a dark outstanding, complicated, eventful story that makes you always crave for more. I'm currently at episode 9, I dont even believe there was a single moment of stalling. This is probably the only anime that is immune to my ADHD and I never paused any episode so far to do something else (which is something I rarely do with anything I watch or do) ..From start to finish, from the top-tier OP by King Gnu to the incredible ED by Yama.. this anime should be on everyone's list, easily my anime of the year.. Hell, I'd even say it's my personal favourite in the last 5 years!

Story-wise, every episode is just packed with events. The characters are so complex with each having their backstory being showcased in such a beautiful way.Starting with Bojji, being this sweet innocent kid who lived his entire childhood cursed by the actions of a selfish father who sought power on the expense of his own child, leading his little child to be born with no strength, being deaf and mute, mocked by everyone for being a "useless prince" who's no fit to lead his father's kingdom.

I just can't explain how every character in this anime is redeemable, no matter how evil or bad they are, and I bet this will be a strong point in the anime moving on..

All I can say is, I was never this excited for a weekly seasonal anime release in a very very long time!
