The pacing is great, with every episode clearly focused on and adding to the main story, the twists keeping you hooked and wanting for more. Once you start it, you'll probably want to binge it in one sitting. It is the furthest thing from an episodic stand alone missions in space show that you can get in and out of at leisure, in case you happen to expect that for some reason.
Sci-Fi and tech singularity fans will be delighted. Dumb action and giant-ninja-robot fans will find something for themselves too, but may end up disappointed if they fail to get the bigger picture.
