This anime is probably one that almost everyone can enjoy no matter if you're a blood and guts shounen fan. It's really simple, but that's all you really need to convey a message. This anime is emotion in story form. All the music compliments the voices of the characters and the mood very well. It's hard to argue against something that's just pure and simple. You can't accuse it of being overtly confusing or of being cheesy. It's just emotion and messages conveyed in a different form. No tricks, no complexities, just a good story with many touching points. On a different note, I would have to say that the story just isn't really my favorite. It's a bit too straightforward for me. It's like this happened, this happened, and then this happened. No plot twists or anything. It makes the story easier to digest, but honestly who doesn't like to think a bit while they're watching anime?
