Preliminary (8/21 eps)
Cat girls doing cute things. Don't expect an engrossing plot; this program is focused on one thing, giving you cuteness, and it largely delivers. Everything, from the soft pastel colors, to the silly upbeat music, to the actual cat photos in the ED, is chosen to create a consistent mood.

The protagonist moves to Cat Island which is inhabited by humans and cat-people who can take humanoid form. Protagonist starts working for a cute cat girl and meets other cat girls. It's an excuse to show cute characters in cute situations.

The story is presented in first person perspective, borrowing from the video game roots. Basically, the cats speak directly to the camera, and you play the role of the invisible protagonist. You never hear the speech of the protagonist, but it is implied by the responses of the other characters. I've never seen anything else use this view point, but it works here.

It's a very light-hearted affair. Episodes are short- only a few minutes if you skip the intro and ending. It's not necessary for you to watch all episodes, or watch in order, or pay attention while watching. It's not going to change your life, but you were just scrolling through memes anyways, right? It's low commitment empty calories.
