The story was passable - if a bit generic and almost exactly what you'd expect from your standard police show. If you enjoy the tropes associated with that kind of narrative, then you'll probably have a good time watching this in bite-sized pieces. The art and characters are kinda 'meh,' admittedly. There's nothing that really stands out about either of them. The animation ranges from functional to slightly entertaining at times.
Did I enjoy my time with AD Police TV? I guess. I don't feel like I've wasted my time with it necessarily, but I wouldn't give a recommendation either. Anything you might be trying to look for in this sort of show can be found elsewhere and done far better. Maybe consider watching if you're bored one afternoon and are aching for something simple to put on for a little bit.
