Well, Korezom, an anime I discovered after seeing the advertising illustration in cooperation with SoraOto. I left it pending for a while and when I decided to watch it, I decided to start by reading the novel (a masochistic idea in itself).

The novel was up to volume 8-2 and I really liked the development of it, so there were many parts that I wanted to see animated (That's the masochistic part).

During the first season, the course was going well. The plot and characters had some development, the novel was well adapted and balanced with fanservice (For having been adapted 3 volumes) and there were good reasons to have to face the antagonist at some point.

Here's where the bad comes in. The second season.

If you're a regular guy who ONLY watches anime, you wouldn't find it so bad and you would even enjoy it and it could be one of your favorites; since, even though its jokes are very cliché, it manages to make you laugh.

But if you are someone who comes from reading the original material (Like all Japanese, some of you and me) you will come out very disappointed with what you saw. Not only did they adapt the novel badly, but in disarray, they were supposed to take volumes 4 to 7, but they slipped in volume 9 (It is worth noting that volumes 6 and 9 are a bunch of short stories, they contain nothing to support the main plot, but they are good in their own way).

DEEN gave 10 episodes, 6 of which are pure fanservice. fanservice (Short stories count as fanservice and not all of them belong to the novel) and only 4 adapt some story.

In these 4 the villain of the day, Chris, is introduced. Presented under the role of a "hallucination" of Ayumu, and this always goes to calm their sorrows where she and suddenly PUM! One day reveals his true self under a stupid event compared to the novel, Chris's intentions were never revealed and was shown more as a companion who comforted Ayumu as an enemy to defeat, throughout the series is not given any good reason for Ayumu to face Chris, it just seems a whim of this wanting to beat her.

Also characters introduced in this season.- The Demon Baron, the guy who spit blood everywhere and gave Ayumu the ring, was left out for the rest of the series and made to look like a filler, and Nene, who was only used for more fanservice in the only episode in which she is shown.

Episode 8, 10 could have improved the anime, but the first one differs a lot from the novel and they make Kyouko just another submissive for no apparent reason (Although she does fall in love with Ayumu anyway). The second one could have ended Chris's arc, giving closure to this one, but instead they put in a chunni Ayumu with identity issues AND MORE FANSERVICE!!!!

I expected to see a lot of things from the novel being animated and I'm sure the japanese did the same, but they got a huge load of fanservice and a lousy plot, quite a disappointment, the low sales of the blu ray proves it.

The audio and animation are the best part of this one, although there are some ost that don't match in certain moments, and one or another detail in the art, they didn't make the mistake they did with NNT XD, although that one had more story than this one.

The OP was a delight that stays in your head, except for the introductory audios, I mean, where the fuck do they get Gaia.

Anyway, this season was made with a vision to make a third one, the part where Lilia comes out proves it, but with how bad this one was, the plans went down the drain.

If I were asked if I want a third season, I would say with total certainty NO, at least not if it's under DEEN's direction again, they would surely shit on my hopes of seeing more of the novel being animated.

As a bonus, the best adapted volumes in this season were 6 and 9. Yes, the ones that contained short stories and were used as fanservice.

The final rating I give it is a 3.5, thank you for read this review.
