ARTISTE : Un CHEF D'EXCEPTION is one of the few manga that I know of which approaches cooking other than a classic shonen. Here, the story is much more interesting and rich than a vulgar ascension, and the environment in which we see the characters live is bluffing realism !!
(I myself am French near Paris and I have rarely seen a manga so faithful to reality, even if of course the story seems to take place in the beautiful districts)
The two better points of the manga are :
The characters, extremely rich in meaning, each of whom (without exception !!) has a story that intertwines with that of others and evolves.
The environment, never have I felt so much this impression of being in this romantic "old Paris" a little fantasized, but very charming while being realistic: personally not liking Parisians too much, this manga manages to reconcile me with ^^ '
In short, it is a masterpiece that is still too little known and everyone to whom I have recommended it adored it! <3
(sorry for bad english, french people are not the best at it !! ^^')
