Jesus fucking Christ! This is originality at its peak, left dying slowly cause no studio wants to pick it up! Fuck! One of the greatest anime I've ever seen and the Manga is just a complete Masterpiece! Urgh!
Before Dorohedoro aired last year, I was already pumped up about it. I had picked up the manga almost close to when it was announced and I left it to continue viewing in moving figures. And as incomplete and less detailed as the anime was, it still did better than most of any anime ever made, and the story and Characters did just this to set it up right up there. Boy was I impressed, watched it weekly and hungered for more. A 12 episodes anime wasn't great at all but I was glad to get anything at all.
The music was just the best, the opening is still my ringtone haha.
The animation scared me a bit, but then the CGI use was fucking perfect!
The characters are the best characters you can ever see in anything. There isn't one character here to hate, no not fucking one! Unless you just want to hate for hate sakes.
I enjoyed the anime but I wasn't satisfied. It is still very much incomplete and the plot twists unexplained.
I don't want to finish reading the manga yet because I am waiting for a second season.
