I dont want to say that oh its been done before because thats not a fair review, of course its been done before, so im going to say that for the bulk of the story if you like something quick with a supernatural flair then yes, this had it. Was a little surprised with the ending, which doesnt happen often. You can usually tell how its going to go but this had a twist to it. I didnt expect what happened to happen. I do feel that it should have been longer though, either as the story progresses or the 'ending' shouldnt have been the ending but thats just how i like a conclusion to be drawn, i know that others may prefer it as it is. In regards to any romance, there wasnt any, only hinted at so that may disappoint anyone who likes to have that. *raises hand*
The art work is very shoujo. The main characters were all pretty good looking or cute. The heroine is of course the nice, loving, too good character so shes cute and bright eyed and standing next to bishies, its the usually visual designs you could expect. I did find at times the layout made it hard to follow the story so you might want to take your time because i got a little lost when i read at my usual speed lol
The characters themselves were pretty much the same the whole time, there wasnt much development for them but its harsh to expect it in only 8 chapters . There was more focus on the characters background which is part of the story, obviously, than emotional growth.
Overall i rate about a 6 or 7. Its entertaining if you re a little bored. A snack if you want to put it that way lol
