The story, while unique, is a bit dull and feels overplayed in some way. Of course, this only applies to certain aspects of the story, but each part of the story influences it all, so it ends up feeling dull a bit. This was somewhat well done in the end, and my Akuma boy really did well throughout this.
Personally, the assortment of character types and how they act in certain situations and events is what saves this. Each character has their own unique ways and | feel like that's what makes them feel like proper beings. There were some episodes where it felt like nothing was happening or that something happened for the sake of happening. At least, to me, it felt like this.
The animation was more than I was expecting, however. From the environments to the characters, everything felt well done and fleshed out. Everything was very pleasant to the eye.
Overall, not a bad watch. Of course, this isn't for everyone, as it's kind of an acquired taste of some sort. Some people might enjoy this more than others. This is nothing that will change your world, but it's a good experience
