Nodame Cantabile is so good that I even started to playing piano. I am not joking.
This anime will make you laugh a lot (I mean a lot), and at same time, a lot of reflexions. The first one and most important: Ethic. What is "Ethic"? Well, It's nothing than a sequence of rules that establishes as an individual should behaviour himself in front of a social group or society. And Nodame contabile expose that with the main characters: Chiaki and Nodame.
Chiaki is the principle of Ethic, almost an arquetype, he is a cultured person, of a high intelectual content, and very good behaviour (ethic) in front of the public (focus on "public", because this theme will be approached in another paragraph). Because of his culture, based in all effort he made, not only in his talent, he's recognized by everyone.
Nodame is the opposite from ethic, she's dirty, gross, doesn't follow patterns, does anything she wants, as wants, and when wants. Because of that, Nodame isn't recognized or even valued by someone, however there's a lot of times it's shown that she has a natural talent to play piano.
This anime will expose these two different from both, and how it contrasts, and how they can be complementary to each other, without lose their essence. Chiaki is a very ethic and cultured person, but he doesn't enjoy the music as it's, he takes sheet music too seriously, but can't feel it. Nodame is a naive person, so, she's all the time taken by the music, and feel it at the most, because of that, she doesn't follow patterns (sheet music), and doesn't take life seriously.
At a lot of casual or funny scenes, it'll be shown how this contrast is done, and how music can be expressed and understood in different manners by each person. The same music that I listen, can be interpreted and felt from a completely different way from you, for example. The anime also shows how composers express themselves through music, and where they wanted to reach with them. If you're a classical music fan, then that will be a combo for you.
The second part that this anime portrays is: Behaviour. It might seen weird, since I said about ethic in the beginning of this text, but both complement each other. Streseman is a womanizer. Chiaki is a serious person, and by being serious, he's rude. Nodame is a lovely and chilled person, but sometimes it can be a mask for her. This anime portrays how to live in extremes personalities can be prejudicial to yourself, and how the characters develop throughout the anime.
In short, animation isn't really that good, orquestras aren't good animated, though OST (from pieces and of anime in itself) are in a good time. The history is about the characters, and characters develop in a very natural way, so in my opinion is also good. And ENJOYMENT is sure, you will for sure have a lot of fun, being heart touched sometimes, and feel their development throughout the story. Watch it and have fun!!!

Nodame Cantabile é tão bom que eu comecei a tocar piano. Não é brincadeira.
Este anime consegue te tirar risadas, e muitas, e ao mesmo tempo, muitas reflexões. A primeira e mais importante: Ética. O que é a ética? ora, nada mais é do que uma sequencia de "regras" que estabelecem como um individuo deve se comportar diante de um convívio social ou sociedade. E Nodame Cantabile contrasta isso com: Chiaki e Nodame.
Chiaki é o princípio de ética, quase um arquétipo, ele é uma pessoa culta, de valor intelectual e muito bom comportamento (ético) diante do público (foque no "público", pois este será o tema de um outro parágrafo). Pela cultura que ele agrega, baseado em todo o esforço que ele teve, e não apenas talento, é reconhecido por todos.
Nodame é o contrário da ética, é suja, nojenta, não segue padrões, faz o que bem entende, como entende, e quando quiser. Devido à isto, Nodame não é reconhecida e/ou sequer valorizada pelas pessoas, por mais que diversas vezes tenha demonstrado um talento natural no piano.
Este anime irá expor esta personalidade dos dois, e em como eles contrastam, e como um pode complementar o outro, sem que percam a sua essência. Chiaki é uma pessoa muito ética e culta, mas não aprecia a música como ela é, leva à partitura a sério, à risca, mas não a sente. Nodame é uma pessoa em que se deixa levar, e sendo assim, é levada pela música, e a sente no máximo, por conta disto, não segue padrões, não segue partituras, não leva a vida com a minima seriedade.
Em diversos momentos descontraídos ou engraçados, será mostrado como este contraste é feito, e também como a música pode ser expressada e entendida de formas diferentes por cada pessoa. A mesma música que uma pessoa ouve, pode ser interpretada e sentida de uma forma completamente diferente que outra, por exemplo. O anime mostra também como os autores das peças se expressavam através dela, e onde queriam chegar com as mesmas. Caso seja um fã de musica clássica, esta parte é um combo a parte.
A segunda parte que o anime retrata é: comportamento. Pode parecer estranho, já que eu falei sobre ética acima, e ambos se complementam. Streseman é um mulherengo. Chiaki é uma pessoa séria, e por ser séria, é rude. Nodame é uma pessoa amorosa e tranquila, mas que por muitas vezes pode ser apenas uma máscara. O anime retrata como viver em extremos de personalidades pode ser prejudicial para si mesmo, e como os personagens se desenvolvem ao longo do anime.
Em resumo, a animação realmente não é lá essas coisas, e as orquestras não são bem animadas, porém a OST (tanto as peças quanto do próprio anime) são bem colocadas. A história é sobre os personagens, e os personagens se desenvolvem de forma muito "natural", então na minha opinião também é bom. E o entretenimento é certo, você vai com certeza dar muitas, mas muitas risadas, vai se sentir tocado em algumas vezes, e também sentir o desenvolvimento deles ao longo da estória.
