Nothing has impacted me this much before in my entire life. It's incredibly well written and emotional, and I consider it a safe haven of therapy for me to return to whenever I'm feeling lost in my life. Maybe the best anime of all time? What more can you ask of a show? This anime inspired me to be a better person, cherish those around me, and live every day with warmth and a smile. Each character in Fruits Basket has his or her own hardships and traumatic past, which really connects with viewers as they empathize. Watching isekai is cool and all, but honestly, when it comes to what you get out of watching anime, how the stories and concepts actually translate to something in one's life, this show has it all. This is what it's all about. Not to mention the gorgeous animation and beautiful soundtrack! Everything about Fruits Basket is a true masterpiece!
