If you are a straight guy that doesn't like this because it's got naked men who have some homoeroticism... Change that about yourself? Like, get some glasses? Rethink why you find a good series to be appalling? See if you don't have some biases about gay people or """girly"""" things.
Ok, now that we got that out of the way, it is time to talk about why Fairy Ranmaru is amazing.
First of all, it is bonkers. Amazingly stupid. The actual plot starts quite late into the story, but it doesn't matter. What matters, is that the journey to that point is actually very fun and entertaining.
On a more serious note, I really give props to this anime for at the very least touching on subjects such as sex work, being gay and in the public eye, family issues, overworking and much more. Every episode seems to touch upon such a theme and it is something quite interesting to see. I especially liked the episode about the pole dancer, it was amazing to see such a person presented in a good light.
But coming back to the actual great things about Fairy Ranmaru. Well. Big mommy milkers. Thicc thighs. Juicy assests. Gay angst. And if you don't like it because it's guys who do this... Well, read the first part of the review again.
The animation and music are actually very good for some reason. Like holy fuck someone genuinely put effort into this glittery dumpster fire. Like that deserves mad respects.
So, yeah, watch it you cowards. Although, I might add, you need a big IQ, and an even EQ, to genuinely grasp the nuances of Fairy Ranmaru. Get them.
