Before I start, let me say that this anime isn't about the answering the 'God Question" or about conspiracy theories. It's about the N.H.K.
I almost always watch animes subbed, but this is definitely one of the few animes that the English dubbed version is way better than the sub. The voice is 90% of the character and therefore having the right VA's can break or make an anime.
Satō's English VA reminded me of kyon English VA for some reason(maybe because of the monologue on the 1st episode?). Anyways, his VA really did come though on so many occasions(especially the offline meeting), I can't think of how hard it must have be able to change and remember the tone of sato's voice in the scenes where he's going crazy or going though a mental breakdown(in particular, the WOW episodes). Over all I thought the VA was perfect for him
Yamazaki's Va sounded similar to Sugahara's from Clannad(or somewhat familiar). I don't have much to say about him other than he was a great Comic relief character(when he showed Nanko his room....nuff said) when he needs to be and a good plot turner towards the end of the anime.
Misaki and Hitomi VA's fit well and were well casted. Both sounded vaguely familiar but I couldn't put my finger on any anime in particular(witch is a good thing btw).
[note: if u know from what other animes the English VA's are from plz post. thanks in advance]

Welcome to the N.H.K. is by far ONE of the most realistic, funnest, saddest, meaningful and most fanserviced up anime I've watched so far. Basically, it's about a Hikikamori(a.k.a recluse) and his battle against the N.H.K.; a secret global organization that is trying to keep him a hikikamori. Much to my surprise, I got through it with only skipping one episode (the second episode of the side plot line that was centering around Megumi Kobayashi's Pyramid scheme) and only because I couldn't stand the characters making such a retarded decision twice. In the beginning I really had no clue how Gonzo was gonna end this anime without making a total joke out of it, but they turned it into one of my favorite endings. Plot holes were kept to a minimum and the English script was very well written. Of course the massive amount of fanservice in the first half of the anime can be described in two words: Frigging Awkward.[there is also some mature situational nudity in the second half] So I only recommend this for Mature viewers over the age of 17; also on that same note female viewers should also be prepare for that as well. [I also feel I should note that most of the "fanservice" is "research material" for the goa(srry if I botched the spelling I've never bought one, let alone played one.) game they are creating throughout the anime.]
This anime is one of the funniest anime I've seen to date; and I don't mean like silently chuckling to yourself; I mean, I was laughing so hard at some parts of the show that I fell out of my chair and started to cry.... (the best Episodes in this since were the offline meeting, when Yamazaki showed Nanako his room and the last episode)The funny thing is it never comes out as forced like some other shows and it was more believable too. I could totally see everything that happened in this anime happening real life......Well almost everything XD. A guy can wish right?! Ok, maybe not. Whatever...........
Welcome to the N.H.K. had a very well written thought through storyline, it had some total out of left field plot twists and some incredibly sad ones too. Although I didn't cry(cause I'm a man, and men can hold back the tears...not really lol) it did however, leave me shell shocked for a couple days. It left an impression on me I’m sure I'll never forget.
Overall, Welcome to the N.H.K. was a phenomenal slice of life drama that can appeals to just about anyone. The only things I can complain about is the fact that the Op and EDs (in my opinion) weren't very good and the few Questions I still have unanswered (like is Sato schizophrenic? I mean, come on, talking appliances? this isn't a Disney movie). Although compared to other shows this one wrapped up Quite nicely.
