Gakuen Alice, How should put this into words? First episode has give me the bad impression of it. I hate childish anime. The opening of the Gakuen Alice, has make me speechless for a moment. Well, i don't know how I manage to get over it to another episode and finished it. The story plot is getting interesting when i watched one episode after another. What is interesting is the mystery of why the Principal of Gakuen Alice has took liking on Mikan the main protagonist in the anime series and her history of hers. Besides, there is possible romance between Mikan and Natsume. If you are into kids' romance like Sakura and Syoran from Cardcaptor Sakura and Karin and Kazune from Kamichama Karin, im sure that you will like this anime series, but endure the childishness of it. This anime series did not cover everything from the manga, because the manga is still ongoing till now. It's better to read the manga than the anime series. Thus, overall is just moderately. Moderately recommended. =)
