Log Horizon seasons 1 and 2 are among my favorite shows I have ever watched. Their blend of politics with isekai tropes was done with one of the most realistic depictions of what would occur if gamers really did get teleported to a fantasy game world. The problem with season 3 is that the isekai and game world aspect of the show has been almost completely abandoned in favor of the political intrigue. Because of this, fighting and strategy that you would expect from MMOs do not happen. The plot slowed to a halt over a tale of the death of the round table, and nothing really happens in the show compared to the previous seasons. I am of the opinion that this series has overstayed its welcome and now is but a shell of what it once was.
