"Shinozaki-san Ki wo Ota Shika ni!" is a manga that is presented a little different then most yuri mangas. Each chapter is a setup for a comedy sketch with some sweet moments here and there. I enjoyed reading this very much and had quite a few laughs.
The art is really cute and I had no problem differentiating between the characters and it did not bother me at any point.
The story is sort of an Alice in wonderland setup where a "normal" girl reluctantly falls in the otaku rabbit hole. She wants to turn her otaku friends into normal people but finds herself attracted more and more to the dark side but is completely tsundere about it.
The characters do not really progress but I do not think they need to. It is more like every chapter just starts back from 0 creating the setup for similar funny comedy sketches and that is what this series is all about. An endless series of comedy sketches in otaku world with strong yuri undertones. In the ending there is some character progression but I feel the writer just wanted to end the series.
