The thing I was most wary of was the age gap since I find that large age gaps like this often breed unhealthy power dynamics. However, Sunohara and Haruhi have such easy chemistry and their love blooms so naturally. Rather than one of them weilding more power than the other, the two uplift each other while learning and growing as a couple.
I was also concerned about the possibility of over-the-top drama, but all of the issues that the couple face are handled with maturity and communication. Despite the challenges that are thrown their way, they work through it all together and grow stronger as a couple.
