It's extremely rare that I rate anything this high, but it's just as rare that I watch a series and am left wanting more. I was devastated to learn I had already breezed through the episodes of Asobi Asobase so quickly; it's an extremely cleverly written show and here I'll explain why.

The show has such an interesting contrast from how it presents itself compared to what it actually is. If people took the intro segment at face value, one would assume it was no more than a wholesome adventure of 3 friends having adventures in the Pastimers Club.

What happens instead are wacky, out of control shenanigans. The three girls are constantly getting into trouble not only among themselves, but greatly affecting and shaping the opinions of all their peers in the process. Things get even more interesting as Hanako's servant Maeda also occasionally gets pulled into the mix.

Overall it's very engaging, very expressive, and in my opinion one of the best anime series available right now.
