I just picked this manga at a random, didn't knew it was the character gaiden manga for zol the grim ripper. It's also referred as prequel to immortal rain. Storyline is based around the first encounter of Zol the grim ripper and Methuselah. Addition to the story behind birth of Machika and her mother's death, it mentions the major plot for relationship between the immortal wanted man and the grim ripper. Art was amazing and story was short and clean with flow, as it wouldn't confuse anyone who is going to read this for the first time without knowledge of it as the prequel of some manga.
