Now I have read most of the light novels and manga and I am very impressed so far with how they're adapting with the source material.
I don't understand why people are complaining about the concept and writing in this show because Yoshida is not trying to prey on a teenager, now for the other people she was with that’s another story, but remember this is entertainment and not real and is setting up a story for a very real scenario. While I see how the title can put people off.
On to the review.
Don't go into this just thinking its gonna be a cute comedy which it does have those elements, but this also dives into the sad life of a female Runaway and how people are not always just there to help you but to use you, because they don't care about you.
Yoshida, was just on his way home after getting drunk but also getting rejected by a woman he was in love with, when he comes across a girl all alone and she says "I'll let you do me, if you let me stay" which just shows you how she's been living. This begins there relationship with many ups and downs. Starting with Sayu wondering why Yoshinda isn't taking advantage of her and Yoshinda trying to figure out Sayu's motives and trying to give her everything he can to show her that she is safe and that he doesn't want to hurt her.
Yoshida and Sayu are the reason to keep watching but the side characters have their goals and are interesting to learn about and how they react to Yoshida choosing to take care of this girl. I can't wait to see how they will play a role later in the story.
I'm not going to say anything else because I want you guys to experience this show for yourself, but don't get angry if there's some disturbing content you have been warned about.
