Urasawa’s drawings are simply exceptional, and the double narrative timeline of the story continuously feeds the suspense and mystery that surrounds the events of the protagonists.
The setting of Japan in the '60s envelops and transports you, and the presence of the supernatural (the search of Asa is about a huge monster) makes you read the volumes of Asadora in one breath.
Please read Asadora, you will not regret it! Trust Urasawa, who has already shown to write stories that even if they start regularly then develop with wonderful temporal and narrative interweaving. I think it might be the same for Asadora, give it a chance!
