If you wanted to show someone an example of how creepy and degenerate the medium of anime can be, well here you go. There are so many problematic scenes that are downright pedophilic, but despite this, I find Monogatari to be one of the most interesting animes I have seen. The story is uniquely dark and disturbing, while still being cute and funny. The visual style is absolutely gorgeous and downright hypnotic. There's a bit too much talking, but I would still highly recommend this show, even though there is a lot of creepy shit you have to put up with
