When it comes to Redo of Healer, there are predominantly 2 sides in the anime community. One saying it's the best anime of 2021, others say it's one of the worst. How do I stand in this? Is it a masterpiece? Is it awful? No. Time for a full honest review.

Story: 7
The things that stand out most about Redo of Healer are how edgy it is and the fact that it's basically a hentai. The story revolves around Keyaru getting revenge on his former allies, who abused him when they got power over him. This greatly forms the central themes of the story being revenge and corruption by power, which we only have seen so far in Shield Hero, but not this deeply and edgy.

My only real problems with the story is that healing makes no sense, Keyaru basically being Crazy Diamond Requiem (yes, that's a JoJo's reference) and outside of the themes it explores and the edginess, it's a pretty generic power fantasy. I do like how it's connected to the themes though. Another problem is that the show tends to go overboard pretty easily.

Characters: 4
Most of the characters are pretty one-dimensional and some exist just to add another hentai tag. Only Keyaru and Setsuna being thematically strong along with the villains. They embody the theme of revenge after losing everything thanks to a corrupt system and the villains being very corrupt. Everyone else in the harem is brainwashed or manipulated by Keyaru into joining him.

Art: 10
TNK is best known for bringing the ecchi classic High School DxD to life and that is reflected in Redo of Healer, if you watch the uncensored version of course. If you go watch the censored version, you simply get a still of some surroundings when it gets too lewd.

Sound: 7
Soundtrack is pretty solid; voice actors do a nice job bringing the characters to life, it's not really anything outstanding, but it does a fine job.

Enjoyment: 7
If you are an adult who can take a lot of edge, you can definitely watch this show. If any of the two doesn't apply to you, don't watch it.

Overall: 7
The story is solid enough to not be a complete dumpster fire, but the characters are pretty weak. The animation and sound design however do a solid enough job.
