Season 2: Starts out fine the last arc however is made up crap and ruined it so much CLAMP wouldn't let them make a 3rd season.
The manga Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle is a master piece, 10/10
The anime on the other hand sucked for the following reasons:
Was animated by Bee Train.
Bee Train is crap.
Bee Train sucks.
Bee Train holds the rights for the characters 'Sayourn' and 'Sakura'
and had the attitude "If we can't do it, no one can".
Bee Train would not allow another Animation Studio to animate
the series such as I.G.Production which did the OVA's
Bee Train deserves to be crushed by the economic crisis.
Basically, if Bee Train didn't animate this the anime would have
been epic.
Also for those saying that CLAMP just recycled the characters,
a reason for this is it helped people who were challenged by
the plot and wouldn't be able to understand it get an idea of
the parallel worlds idea which is central to the plot (need to
read the manga)
This series is actually intertwined with another series by CLAMP
called xxxHolic. The two stories take place in the now termed
"CLAMP universe".
The soundtrack for the series was the best part, composed
by a true musical genius.
